2026-09-27 — pre-launch hardening

• Breaking (pre-GA): POST /v1/payments/{id}/refunds requires an Idempotency-Key. The key is stored with the refund, so retries after errors return the same refund.
• Refunds left in created by an interruption are recovered automatically; uncertain outcomes are confirmed with the provider.
• New docs: Test and Live, pagination, rate limits, payment links, versioning, go-live checklist, support.

2026-09-01 — initial version

• Payments, refunds, payment links, providers, webhook endpoints and events.
• Hosted checkout with capability-driven methods. Apple Pay, Google Pay and crypto exist as architecture and sandbox simulations only; they are not available for real payments.
